Lahaina Swim Club swimmers at Hawaiian Swimming Long Course State Championships at Waipahu, Oahu

Lahaina Swim Club swimmers took part in Hawaiian Swimming Long Course Age Group State Championships held at Takai Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Waipahu on July 14 - July 17, 2022. Over 300 of the best young swimmers from Hawaii gathered on Oahu to compete in the event.

Lahaina boys and girls performed admirably with many top three finishes in individual finals and team relays. Lahaina’s Emily Gorokhovsky had the most points of all female swimmers competing in the state championships. As a team, Lahaina Swim Club finished in 7th place out of 21 teams - an impressive feat considering that the team had a contingent of only 16 athletes.
