Coach Kirsten Byers has been coaching Lahaina Swim Club’s Summer program and assisting Coach Tom Popdan for 8 years. Coach Kirsten is a math teacher and a former collegiate swimmer at UCLA.

Lahaina Swim Club advanced groups threw a potluck A Hui Hou party for Coach Kirsten to thank her for her work and dedication to our team! Thank you, Amy McGill, for organizing this special event! All athletes brought homemade dishes to share that included pasta, lasagna, meatballs, muffins, cookies, and cakes. Coaches Kirsten, Tom, and Jen organized fun competitions and water games for our athletes and everyone had a great time.

Coach Kirsten is getting married and moving to Oahu! A Hui Hou, dear Coach Kirsten!
